7 Service Businesses Foreigners Don’t Need a Permit

Thai PBS Verify found a social media post claiming that “seven service businesses do not require foreign nationals to obtain permission to operate a business.” However, an examination of the relevant legislation found that the law does not identify seven businesses in the manner claimed in the post. Some of the information was also rearranged and interpreted in a way that could lead to misunderstanding.
