30 ต.ค. 67
While Thailand has implemented urgent measures to address flooding, spending roughly a billion dollars annually, the World Bank has suggested a long-term project to mitigate the flood crisis, at an estimated cost of 2.2 billion dollars. Melinda Good, WB Country Director for Thailand and Myanmar, stated that the government needs to act promptly, as floods occur regularly. If Thailand is to reach high-income status, Good emphasised that focusing on sustainability across three key areas could help accelerate progress.
